Don’t miss the 6th Annual Rag Rug Festival & Design Collective Santa Fe, featuring stunning rag rugs and other home furnishings, fashions, and adornments — fine and fun art and distinctive gifts made by New Mexico women artisans. Plus THREADS: a boutique of vintage and new textiles and other offerings. To benefit Women’s Cottage Industries, a program of the New Mexico Women’s Foundation, helping to create a more abundant life for New Mexico’s women and girls.

May 9, 2009 offers an opportunity to thank our donors, showcase the talent and work of our grantee organizations throughout the state, and honor special women of merit with the Alice Paul Award. This award is named for Alice Paul, author of the Equal Rights Amendment, founder of the National Woman’s Party, and a lifelong activist for women’s equality. Our 2008 Alice Stokes Paul Award honorees are Sallie Bingham, Ana Gallegos y Reinhardt and Della Warrior.
